Founded in Boston’s South End in 1962, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty began as a boutique residential brokerage  Domain/Domain with a singular passion for exceptional service. Over the decades, we meticulously built our reputation by focusing on integrity, market expertise, and deep community ties. By 2006, recognizing our steady growth and luxury‐market dominance, we partnered with Sotheby’s International Realty® and rebranded the office in honor of the founding owner Betty Gibson, a move that elevated our brand and gave us access to an unrivaled global network. Today, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty is Massachusetts’ top MA based firm by sales volume, consistently achieving the highest average sale prices of the Top 10 Firms.

Larry Rideout

Chairman / Founder

Larry Rideout is the Chairman and Co-Owner of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, with more than three decades of experience in building real estate companies throughout New England.

 

Rideout began his career as a real estate agent in 1984. In 1999, Rideout joined Cendant Corporation (now Realogy), the parent company of Century21, ERA, Coldwell Banker and Sotheby’s International Realty, and served as both Regional Vice President and Senior Vice President of Franchise Business Development.  In 2006, Rideout purchased Gibson Domain and transitioned the company into an affiliate of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand. Under his leadership, the company evolved from 55 associates and $250 million in sales volume to 400 associates and $2.9 billion in sales volume in 2020. Today, the company is the #1 Boston-based real estate company in Massachusetts.

 

Rideout currently serves as a Director Emeritus for the WPL Foundation, a Director of the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS®, a Commissioner of the Woburn Housing Authority, and a member of the Woburn Chamber of Commerce and the Woburn Host Lions International Club. He is the past President of the Woburn Public Library Foundation.

Principal & Founder

Paul McGann is the Principal and Co-Founder of Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, where he draws on more than two decades of experience building and growing real estate franchises throughout New England.

 

McGann began his real estate career as an agent in 1987 and quickly rose to lead a top-performing, multi-office firm in the Greater Boston area. He later served as Senior Director of Business Development at Cendant Corporation (now Anywhere Real Estate Inc.), where he was instrumental in expanding the Century 21 brand’s regional presence through strategic mergers and acquisitions.

 

In 2006, McGann and his partner, Larry Rideout, acquired Gibson Domain and affiliated the company with Sotheby’s International Realty®. Since then, he has remained focused on driving business growth and helping agents reach their full potential.

 

A native of Woburn, Massachusetts, McGann lives there today with his wife, Kerrie, and their children. He holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Northeastern University.

Al Bouchie

Managing Director

Albert Bouchie is Managing Director and co-founder of Gibson Commercial. He has a proven track record for successfully participating in the sale, marketing, and consulting of investment properties. Concentrating in Sales, Leasing and Acquisition of all types of commercial properties, as well as Development Opportunities. During his real estate career, Albert has been involved with hundreds of transactions from sales to acquisitions and has played a significant role in the construction of over 300 housing units. Albert has 35 years of combined experience in real estate sales, development, construction, finance, and strategic planning.

Vice President

Henry McIntyre is a Commercial Advisor for Gibson Commercial, specializing in Market Research & Analysis. Growing up, Henry worked in property management, gaining a deep understanding of commercial investment properties. After graduating from UMass Boston, Henry worked in Residential Sales before transitioning to Commercial Sales and Analysis. Researching and evaluating properties across the broad Commercial spectrum, Henry has developed a deep understanding of markets throughout Greater Boston. Henry prides himself in providing accurate and thorough property valuations, showing clients the best way to maximize their Commercial Real Estate investments.

Vice President

Bill Dragon is a Commercial Advisor for Gibson Commercial, assisting clients with their commercial sales, purchases, and leases. Bill graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a bachelor’s degree in business management, and he furthered his education by obtaining a real estate management certificate from the Wharton School of Business, sponsored by the International Council of Shopping Centers. Specializing in the Merrimack Valley Market, Bill has experience selling and leasing office, flex, and retail properties throughout Greater Boston, as well as extensive experience with investment properties and commercial property management. Bill values connecting with people,understanding his clients’ goals, and helping them overcome any obstacles in their way.
